Rick Hester President
I am involved in a few things. In Melbourne, I am Treasurer of the
Eau Gallie Merchants. I help with the Farmers market at that location. That's how we got
involved with the Cocoa Beach Market. I am a member of the Community Redevelopment
Advisory Board (C.R.A.). I am the Water Fronts of Florida Liasion for the city
of Melbourne and the Eau Gallie Residents and Business. I am on the Space Coast
Little League (SCLL) Board of Directors (Director of T-Ball / Coach Pitch). I
also coach T-Ball and assist in coach pitch team (5-yrs) . I have been putting in
the practice ball fields behind Roosevelt. I help with football in Peewee
league.
Kelli (17) as of Aug. 11 is my second oldest. I have 3 other children: Corey (19)
a Marine, Skyler (8) & Mckenize (6). I have always helped with unloading the school buses,
but last year I was tagged to help with the Band Pit Crew. Had a wonderful time and have been
heavily involved since. I beat up on Yvonne Campbell (co-Chaperone) during the New York Band trip. But she got
even by talking me in to running for Booster Board President. I am having a great time. Do not let
anyone tell you it's not hard work to volunteer, but it is so rewarding working
with the kids and other members. Hope to see you out there.

Adrienne Roth Co-Vice
President
The Roth family, John (CBHS 2010), Erna (11 yrs old) Bill and Adrienne reside in Indian Harbour Beach.
John plays the clarinet and is very excited to be a part of the
Marching Minutemen again this year. We and our business (Brevard
Business News) are proud to have the opportunity and the ability to
help such a vibrant organization. Mr. Brooker does a fabulous job
helping our students improve their skills as well as gain valuable self
assurance and camaraderie. We look forward to an exciting year.

Claudia Davis Treasurer
My son Chuck Morris is in 11th grade. Chuck plays 2 instruments, the
Baritone Sax for the Marching Band and the
Contra
Alto Clarinet for the Clarinet Ensemble. He is co-Quartermaster for the band. Chuck has been playing the
Bari Sax since 6th grade and also had 5 years of Piano
lessons. We moved to Cocoa Beach from Marietta, GA in 2004. My
husband Ray works at the Cape. You may have
seen one or both of us jogging down Minuteman. My profession is Mortgages.
I
really enjoy volunteering with the other Band parents and being around
our great Band students. Volunteering helps me stay in
touch
with the Band
program and participate in this aspect of my son's activities.
My goal is to help keep the communication lines open with
all of the Band families. If you are a new Band family (or even
if you are not new) and have any band
questions I am happy to help you find the answer. Please contact me anytime by email ClaudiaCDavis@aol.com or phone 960-2577.

Brion Quandt Secretary
I have a
daughter, Clarisse (10th grader), in the band this year. She plays French Horn. I also have a son who graduated from CBHS IB
program earlier this year. I am the secretary
for the Band Boosters. I also help with
some of the fundraising, some of the concessions, some of the supervision of
the stands during football season. We
have a wonderful group of students and a great band director, and a truly
caring group of parents who give of themselves to make things happen. I think the band is a great organization and
my motive is to help the band run smoothly for everyone, but especially for the
kids! Come and join us!

"HoverMom'" is my name and
kids are my game. Life would be so boring without their priceless ENERGY
especially musicians. Volunteering seemed too invasive to my schedule at first.
One time in the concession stand and now I would not miss another burger wrapping,
dog cookin, nacho slinging, hot cocoa stirring football game in for the world. I
think the best part of being involved in your children's activities is that they
ALL become our children. We have too much fun chaperoning, cooking, cleaning,
pit crewing, laughing, photographing, purchasing, discussing, planning, deciding
etc, etc to ever walk away from Volunteer opportunities again. My husband and I have met
some of the finest quality people by getting involved with the band. Some of our
best advice for parenting, finances, life decisions etc; comes from the person
wrapping hotdogs or administering band aids right next to you. Lucky us; we have the
best parents, the best band director, and the best teenagers in the
world! Come out and join us
-- you will NEVER regret it! 20 years from now it
will not be the things that we did that bother us, the things that will upset us
the most are the things that we did NOT do.
Our kids grow so fast and
then they will be gone.... Don't miss these precious opportunities to spend time with
them!
